Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Giallo-giallo (Yellow-yellow) by Carla Accardi was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 45,000.00 – 65,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 56,207.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carla Accardi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Violarosso, which sold at auction in November last year for EUR 180,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Giallo-giallo (Yellow-yellow) von Carla Accardi kam im Juni 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 56.207,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Carla Accardi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Violarosso beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für EUR 180.000,00 versteigert wurde.
