Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vegetable Motherhood by Charlotte Colbert was sold in the First Open | Online auction at Christies in London in September 2019. The price achieved of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,679.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charlotte Colbert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Odyssey 03, 2014, which sold at auction in April 2017 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,679.78).
