Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Soul On Jacob'S Ladder by Damien Hirst was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Prints auction at Christies in London in September 2013. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,953.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
