Admittedly, works by Denis Piel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Cooling off 3" in May 2010 with an auction result of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,186.35).

Die Arbeit “Imagination”, 1982 von Denis Piel wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 10.000,00 (€ 1.056,29) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Denis Piel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Cooling off 3" im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.186,35).
