The work Autumn Light by Don Eddy was sold in the POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART auction at Christies in New York in November 2001. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,637.50 (€ 8,525.90), 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Don Eddy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Departure Dc 8 III - 1969 in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 143,000.00.

Die Arbeit Autumn Light von Don Eddy wurde im November 2001 in der Auktion POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.637,50 (€ 8.525,90) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Don Eddy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Departure Dc 8 III - 1969 im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 143.000,00.
