Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gomito Di Barca by Enzo Cucchi was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,830.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enzo Cucchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quadro Santo in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 821,886.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gomito Di Barca von Enzo Cucchi kam im Februar 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 28.830,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enzo Cucchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quadro Santo im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 568.000,00 (€ 821.886,53).
