In March this year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Narzissen by Erich Heckel. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,340.00 (€ 12,901.44), 62% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erich Heckel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blühende Apfelbäume in February 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,508,750.00 (€ 1,704,340.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 62 % übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Narzissen von Erich Heckel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.340,00 (€ 12.901,44) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erich Heckel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blühende Apfelbäume im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.508.750,00 (€ 1.704.340,14).
