Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Ernst Wilhelm Nay was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in March 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,194.30). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernst Wilhelm Nay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scheiben und Halbscheiben in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 2,312,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ernst Wilhelm Nay wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.194,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernst Wilhelm Nay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scheiben und Halbscheiben im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.312.500,00.
