Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2013 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm, which included the work "Saxophone" by Arman. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 35,000.00 (€ 4,069.14), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Accord Majeur, 1962 in January 2008 with an auction result of EUR 371,760.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2013 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Saxophone" von Arman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 35.000,00 (€ 4.069,14) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Accord Majeur, 1962 im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 371.760,00.
