Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Franz Radziwill could be acquired at Christies in London in June last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Bauerndorf (recto); Stehender Akt mit Hühnern (verso) changed hands for GBP 48,000.00 (€ 55,762.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Franz Radziwill have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gespräch über einen Paragraphen in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 356,240.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franz Radziwill konnte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale wechselte die Arbeit Bauerndorf (recto); Stehender Akt mit Hühnern (verso) für GBP 48.000,00 (€ 55.762,35) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Radziwill auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gespräch über einen Paragraphen im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 356.240,00.
