Sold at the lower estimate price
The work "Ecce Homo" by George Grosz was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. The result of SEK 600,000.00 (€ 51,698.89) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Grosz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gefährliche Straße in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 9,740,250.00 (€ 11,288,971.84).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Ecce Homo" von George Grosz wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 600.000,00 (€ 51.698,89) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Grosz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gefährliche Straße im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.740.250,00 (€ 11.288.971,84).
