It achieved a price of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 73,434.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Günther Förg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 1,331,250.00 (€ 1,542,921.77).

Die Arbeit Bleibilder (Lead Pictures) von Günther Förg kam im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 73.434,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Günther Förg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.331.250,00 (€ 1.542.921,77).
