Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Elephant Skull Album by Henry Moore was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2014. It achieved a price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,723.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Figure: Festival in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 24,722,500.00 (€ 29,675,067.53).
