Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Conduit VI by Igshaan Adams. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,700.00 (€ 14,629.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Igshaan Adams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work For Those Who Know in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 88,200.00 (€ 75,108.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Conduit VI von Igshaan Adams zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 12.700,00 (€ 14.629,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Igshaan Adams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit For Those Who Know im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 75.108,58).
