Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Field #12 Black and White) by Jennifer Guidi was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 112,500.00 (€ 95,549.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jennifer Guidi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 625,000.00 (€ 553,734.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Field #12 Black and White) von Jennifer Guidi kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 95.549,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jennifer Guidi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 625.000,00 (€ 553.734,38).
