Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jeppe Hein achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2018. In the Post-War to Present auction, the work Broken Mirror Cubes sold for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,777.98) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jeppe Hein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 3-Dimensional Circle Illuminated in May this year with an auction result of USD 120,650.00 (€ 113,243.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jeppe Hein erzielte im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War to Present wurde die Arbeit Broken Mirror Cubes für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.777,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeppe Hein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 3-Dimensional Circle Illuminated im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.650,00 (€ 113.243,85).
