The work L'Adorateur du Soleil by Joan Miró was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June last year. It achieved a price of GBP 15,300.00 (€ 17,774.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
