The work Sans titre. Epreuve rehaussée pour l’album ‘Femmes’ by Joan Miró was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction at Christies in London in March this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 47,880.00 (€ 54,472.75), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre. Epreuve rehaussée pour l’album ‘Femmes’ von Joan Miró wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 47.880,00 (€ 54.472,75) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
