The work Multiplex B by Josef Albers was auctioned at Christies in New York in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,413.04), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josef Albers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homage to the Square in May this year with an auction result of USD 2,954,000.00 (€ 2,772,667.54).
