Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jannis Kounellis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2011. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Untitled (Hair) sold for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,708.02) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jannis Kounellis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in October 2016 with an auction result of EUR 1,562,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jannis Kounellis erzielte im April 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Hair) für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.708,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jannis Kounellis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans titre im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.562.500,00.
