Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Västerbron III", 1954 by Lennart Olson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,860.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lennart Olson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Rött ljus/Red light, Stockholm", 1970, which sold at auction in May 2017 for SEK 70,000.00 (€ 7,176.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Västerbron III", 1954 von Lennart Olson kam im Mai 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.860,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Lennart Olson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Rött ljus/Red light, Stockholm", 1970 beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für SEK 70.000,00 (€ 7.176,93) versteigert wurde.
