Despite a disappointment, a good price for Marta Marcé
In September 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Homanage by Marta Marcé for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,260.76). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Homanage is the most expensive artwork by Marta Marcé that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Marta Marcé
Im September 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Homanage von Marta Marcé für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.260,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Homanage das teuerste Kunstwerk von Marta Marcé, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
