Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Martin Kobe. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,072.31), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Martin Kobe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rudera in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 205,000.00 (€ 131,748.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Martin Kobe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 28.072,31) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Kobe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rudera im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 205.000,00 (€ 131.748,07).
