Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage de neige by Maxime Maufra was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction at Christies in London in June last year. The price achieved of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,956.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maxime Maufra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Vent in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 266,500.00 (€ 198,097.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paysage de neige von Maxime Maufra wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.956,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maxime Maufra auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Vent im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 266.500,00 (€ 198.097,08).
