In June last year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Vue de village by Maxime Maufra. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,970.00 (€ 13,905.74), 71% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maxime Maufra achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Vent in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 266,500.00 (€ 198,097.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 71 % übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue de village von Maxime Maufra zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.970,00 (€ 13.905,74) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maxime Maufra erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Vent im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 266.500,00 (€ 198.097,08).
