Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Iggy Pop with Dior Hand-bag #2", 2010 by Mikael Jansson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 70,000.00 (€ 7,595.15). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikael Jansson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kendall Jenner, New York studio, which sold at auction in May 2017 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,228.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Iggy Pop with Dior Hand-bag #2", 2010 von Mikael Jansson im November 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 70.000,00 (€ 7.595,15) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikael Jansson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kendall Jenner, New York studio beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.228,11) versteigert wurde.
