Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Papercrete by Oscar Tuazon was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 9,015.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Oscar Tuazon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 58,188.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Papercrete von Oscar Tuazon wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 9.015,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Tuazon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 58.188,25).
