In the 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session auction, the work without title sold for USD 107,100.00 (€ 87,571.55) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Per Kirkeby have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 431,250.00 (€ 484,788.96).
