Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Raoul Dufy could be acquired at Christies in London in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Amphitrite changed hands for GBP 2,520 (€ 2,928) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000 – 5,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Dufy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Regattes À Trouville in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,505,000 (€ 2,075,171).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Raoul Dufy konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale wechselte die Arbeit Amphitrite für GBP 2.520 (€ 2.928) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000 – 5.000. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Dufy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Regattes À Trouville im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.505.000 (€ 2.075.171).
