Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Roberto Matta achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in May this year. In the Limited Edition auction, the work Hom'mère - Chaosmos - 1973 sold for EUR 4,986.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roberto Matta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Pendu (The Hanged Man) in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 1,800,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roberto Matta erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Limited Edition wurde die Arbeit Hom'mère - Chaosmos - 1973 für EUR 4.986,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roberto Matta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Pendu (The Hanged Man) im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.800.750,00.
