Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Board by Robin Rhode was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March this year. The price achieved of USD 11,430.00 (€ 10,513.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robin Rhode have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Street Gym in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 68,757.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Board von Robin Rhode kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.430,00 (€ 10.513,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robin Rhode auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Street Gym im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 68.757,90).
