Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Girl on Cliff by Rockwell Kent was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June last year. It achieved a price of USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,339.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rockwell Kent achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gray Day in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 852,500.00 (€ 805,917.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Girl on Cliff von Rockwell Kent kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.339,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rockwell Kent erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gray Day im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 852.500,00 (€ 805.917,94).
