Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work With red - 1993 by Sean Scully was auctioned at Artcurial in May this year. It achieved a price of EUR 7,216.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sean Scully achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Song in May last year with an auction result of USD 2,046,500.00 (€ 1,907,091.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit With red - 1993 von Sean Scully kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.216,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sean Scully erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Song im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.046.500,00 (€ 1.907.091,60).
