Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled #454 by Seydou Keïta was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,770.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Seydou Keïta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre (L'Odalisque) - 1956-1957 in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 63,700.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled #454 von Seydou Keïta kam im September 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.770,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Seydou Keïta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre (L'Odalisque) - 1956-1957 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 63.700,00.
