Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sherrie Levine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fountain (After Marcel Duchamp) in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 962,500.00 (€ 778,469.75).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 59.236,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sherrie Levine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fountain (After Marcel Duchamp) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 962.500,00 (€ 778.469,75).
