Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Shirazeh Houshiary was sold in the First Open | Online auction at Christies in London in September 2019. The price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,526.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shirazeh Houshiary achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Door in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 122,318.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shirazeh Houshiary wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion First Open | Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.526,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shirazeh Houshiary erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Door im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 122.318,26).
