Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction 80s, which included the work Palette by Tony Cragg. The »bidding war« ended at USD 74,500.00 (€ 56,145.90), 24% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony Cragg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Constant Change in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 849,062.00 (€ 984,851.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 80s durch, in der auch die Arbeit Palette von Tony Cragg zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 56.145,90) und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tony Cragg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Constant Change im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 849.062,00 (€ 984.851,03).
