The work paper drop (passage) III by Wolfgang Tillmans was auctioned at Christies in London in June this year. It achieved a price of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,328.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wolfgang Tillmans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Freischwimmer #84 in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 605,000.00 (€ 688,982.12).

Die Arbeit paper drop (passage) III von Wolfgang Tillmans kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.328,46) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wolfgang Tillmans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Freischwimmer #84 im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 605.000,00 (€ 688.982,12).
