The international character of southern France: with remarkable positions from local and international art scenes, Art-O-Rama attracts art connoisseurs and enthusiasts to Marseille. The 19th edition of the fair will take place from August 29 to 31.

The many faces of street art
The HALLENKUNST 2025 exhibition features works by around 70 artists who have a background in graffiti or street art but now work in other areas. The exhibition is part of the Capital of Culture Chemnitz program and opens on 28 August.
Artist, naturalist, pioneer
With Rachel Ruysch: Artist, Naturalist, and Pioneer, one of the most famous painters in art history is finally getting her first major solo exhibition: starting August 23, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston is presenting 35 impressive paintings by the Baroque painter. The show was previously on display in Munich and Toledo, Ohio.
Innovative art from 100 years
The Auckland Art Gallery is showing the exhibition A Century of Modern Art until September 28. Visitors can expect to see artworks by many world-famous artists who worked between the 1860s and 1960s, including Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Robert Rauschenberg.
David Hockney: Art from 70 years
It is David Hockney's largest exhibition to date: over 400 works by the versatile artist from the last 70 years are on display at the Foundation Louis Vitton in Paris. David Hockney, 25 runs until August 31.
Forms of exchange: artistic contrasts and similarities
In the run-up to Berlin Art Week, the Berlin art forum ep.contemporary is showing two thematically coordinated exhibitions, wenn überhaupt, dann ist das das Besondere und … gerade deshalb (if anything, then that's what makes it special and ... that’s exactly why). They open simultaneously on August 14. Both exhibitions feature works by Henning Haupt, who participates in the Art.Salon artist program.

Inspired by the expulsion from paradise: 120 artworks from the Miettinen Collection explore different perspectives on body images and role models. The exhibition Exit Paradise, featuring numerous works by renowned artists, will be on display at Schloss Sacrow in Potsdam until September 28.
