Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Napalm" by Banksy. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 330,000.00 (€ 27,947.58). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Banksy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love is in the Bin in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 18,582,000.00 (€ 22,014,651.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Napalm" von Banksy zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 330.000,00 (€ 27.947,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Banksy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Love is in the Bin im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.582.000,00 (€ 22.014.651,32).
