Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2011 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included this untitled work by Bert de Beul. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,602.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bert de Beul - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2015 for EUR 6,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2011 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bert de Beul zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.602,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Bert de Beul mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2015 für EUR 6.875,00 versteigert wurde.
