This price was achieved in the auction POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART Paris, Day Sale at Christies in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Bertrand Lavier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Atomium, 2007 in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.
