Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Algiers' Sections Of A Happy Moment by David Claerbout was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,970.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Claerbout achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Algiers’ Section of a Happy Moment in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 120,100.00 (€ 144,461.67).
