Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marble, Olive by Ed Ruscha was sold in the A Graphic Century including French Impressions: Prints from Ambroise Vollard and Henri M. Petiet auction at Christies in New York in November last year. The price achieved of USD 21,420.00 (€ 20,749.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ed Ruscha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hurting the Word Radio #2 in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 52,485,000.00 (€ 47,631,364.01).
