Die Arbeit Diario dei colori (Diary of colours) von Ettore Spalletti kam im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 34.813,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 74%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ettore Spalletti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Azzurro im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 201.600,00.
