Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2006 Phillips in New York held the auction Saturday@Phillips, which included the work Large "Easy Edges" table by Frank Gehry. The price achieved of USD 7,800.00 (€ 5,910.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Gehry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fish Lamp in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 239,400.00 (€ 212,102.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Saturday@Phillips durch, in der auch die Arbeit Large "Easy Edges" table von Frank Gehry zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 7.800,00 (€ 5.910,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Gehry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fish Lamp im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 239.400,00 (€ 212.102,42).
