Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Braque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage À La Ciotat in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,845,000.00 (€ 12,199,722.82).

Die Arbeit Oiseaux sur fond bleu - circa 1960 von Georges Braque kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.837,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Braque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage À La Ciotat im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.845.000,00 (€ 12.199.722,82).
