Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Jason Martin. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,880.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jason Martin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Origin in July this year with an auction result of GBP 114,300.00 (€ 133,353.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jason Martin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.880,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jason Martin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Origin im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 114.300,00 (€ 133.353,46).
