(111 x 143 mm.) Sheet: 10 x 7 1 ⁄ 2 in. (254 x 191 mm.)
Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled, from Surrealism between Two Wars: International Anthology of Contemporary Engraving, Volume 2, from the series The Forerunners of the Avant-Garde by Jean (Hans) Arp for USD 504.00 (€ 456.52). This price was achieved in the auction The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean (Hans) Arp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Déméter in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 5,825,000.00 (€ 5,144,396.36).

Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled, from Surrealism between Two Wars: International Anthology of Contemporary Engraving, Volume 2, from the series The Forerunners of the Avant-Garde von Jean (Hans) Arp für USD 504,00 (€ 456,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean (Hans) Arp erzielen.
