Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Modified Social Bench "2 by Jeppe Hein was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,540.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeppe Hein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 3-Dimensional Circle Illuminated in May this year with an auction result of USD 120,650.00 (€ 113,243.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Modified Social Bench "2 von Jeppe Hein kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.540,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeppe Hein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 3-Dimensional Circle Illuminated im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.650,00 (€ 113.243,85).
